After Christmas when I was bringing Amanda to the airport very early one morning, I continued up the road towards Yellowstone. I came across this pair of moose. Apparently the cow (female) wasn’t quite ready to get up yet for the day, but her bull moose partner was quite handsome.

That is magnificent! We lived in Utah for a year and my only goal was to see a moose! Just before we moved I saw three in one day near Sundance! They are amazing creatures.
Well go take a trip to Jackson – they are a pretty common sight there, and unfortunately too many get hit by cars every year on the roads. Whether you see them a lot or it’s your first sighting, they are always magnificent creatures.
